I went to Ben's on Sunday night. We hung coasters on the wall... Nice eh? OK back to work

Carb Day

We went to Carb Day today. Traffic sucked. We had a good time if you couldn't tell from the pics. Lots of people, fast cars. It was kinda hot and now I think I'm burnt. We had fun, check out the pics... OCC was there, but no Paul, Paul, Vinnie, or Mikey... Just some dood really. Also saw Al Unser Sr. over the pitwall we were sitting next too. Time to go pay attention in class.

Drama in A100

For some reason today I was totally nervous about going to class. I have no idea why. I was totally tied in knots. Then I got to class... I think I understand why now. First off, it's "get your impossibly hard test back" day. I got an 82%, should have done better. But then the drama started. After the prof went over the test, a few people in the class started to question the questions. I have to admit that the questions were poorly worded, but these people were going off on this guy. This class is a 100 level, introductory class and the test was entirely too hard. I think this professor is in serious need of help. Listen to my podcast about this. During break the girls got together and had their little "session" and now that we're back, the prof is making us come to class on a day where most classes are not meeting. Friday. The Friday before Memorial Day. It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm sick of this class and can't wait for it to be over.
Going to Carb Day tomorrow, yes tomorrow, not today. Carb Day has been moved from Thursday to Friday, forever. It's lame, but it is what it is. I'll be there all day and then to class I guess... Then I'm going out with some friends... no idea what we're doing, but we're doing something.
Anyways I guess I should get back to half-listening/downloading music... Later

Why am I still sitting here?

I'm sitting in class right now. Thought I should update. The prof is talking, but I'm not sure what about... he just drones on about nothing. So here's the update from the past week or so.
Below are pics from the fire we had at Jake's on Sunday night. Great times with everyone.
Yesterday was Kyle's 21st. Happy Birthday man. He left for DC today to do an internship for the summer. I'm sure he's not working in the White House but I bet it'll be a good time.
I'm going to Carb Day at the track on Friday with Ben and Orion... can't wait, I love seeing Indy cars.
Ok so I didn't have that much to say.
I keep getting all these ideas to either blog or podcast about and then by the time I get back to a computer to do them... nothing. Hmm... Maybe I'll try this again later tonight, class is almost over now.

Summer School

I'm sitting in the commons right now waiting for time to go to my second class. I wrote the following last night when class was just starting, thought I would share it with you.

A slightly largish head with a face not unlike Marmaduke. Dress in the typical attire of a man of his profession, black slacks, slightly ill fitting, and a cable knit sweater to cover his full round belly. He speak quietly, nearly too quiet for those in the back to hear. a thick accent hangs in the room, not unlike the stench of garbage on a hot hazy summer day.
Broken English. Awkward silences of the first day. Housekeeping to be done and explections are laid.
Welcome to summer school.

I'm still alive

Sorry for the long wait between posts. Finals are over, finally. School is out. I'm working full time now, 6 days a week when possible. Been hanging out with friends. Just enjoying the first few days of summer basically. The show is going OK, havne't been updating as much as I should, but it's getting out there. People are talking about me on their shows, so I'm very pleased with that.
I start school again on Thursday, only 3 days a week, but it's late at night so that might suck. I just checked out the syllabus online, this prof seems like he's either going to be really cool, or a nazi.
I dunno what else to really tlk about on here anymore, I try to keep the show interesting and feel like I'm being redundant by posting the same stuff here and there. Check out the show, most are short (15-20min), you've got the time.

I went fishing with Orion last night at the pond. He caught this one as we were leaving. 1/2 lb maybe and maybe a little over 4 inches long.
